There are two ways to join a course. You can tick it in your list of courses, or enter the code your lecturer gave you. Either way, you’re in straight away. Nobody has to approve it. To start, choose Enrol on the Courses page, or Enrol Course in the sidebar.

From your list

Lena lists the courses that are open to your faculty, department and level (or your grade and arm).
1

Tick the courses you want

Tick each course you want to join. A bar at the bottom shows how many you’ve picked.

2

Enrol

Choose Enrol in the bar, then Enrol again to confirm. Lena takes you back to Courses, and your new courses are there.

With a code

An entry code looks like LN-2026-11-QFYVRHNNF. Your lecturer shares it in class, on the board or in a message. A code gets you into the course even if it isn’t on your list.
1

Choose Enter code

On the Enrol page, choose Enter code. (Or, under “Can’t find your course?”, choose Enter a code instead.)
2

Enter the code and find the course

Type or paste the code in Class or entry code, then choose Find course.
3

Check it’s the right one, then enrol

Lena shows the course’s title, code, lecturer and term. If it’s the right course, choose Enrol. If not, choose Try another.

Leaving a course

Open the course and choose Unenrol. Or, in Courses, choose ⋮ on the course’s row, then Unenrol. To leave several at once, tick them on the Current tab and choose Unenrol in the bar. Lena asks you to confirm. After you leave, you can’t open the course’s materials or see its updates. You can join again later with the entry code.

Good to know

  • “Not accepting” next to a course means it’s closed to new students for now. You can’t tick it, and its code won’t work either. Ask your lecturer.
  • Past courses (ones that have ended, or that you’ve left) are on the Past tab of Courses.
  • K-12 schools say “subject” for course and “teacher” for lecturer.

Troubleshooting

There are no courses for your place in the school yet. Your lecturer may not have published the course yet. Or your faculty, department or level may be wrong: check Settings → School. You can also ask your lecturer for the entry code and use Enter code.
Check the code letter by letter, including the dashes. Codes are easy to mistype, so copy and paste it if you can.
Your lecturer has closed enrolment for the course. Ask them when it will open.
Check your internet connection and try again.
