Your Lena profile contains your personal information and account settings. You can update your details, change security settings, and manage notification preferences from any Lena app.
Before you begin: You must be logged in to any Lena app. See Logging In if you need help.

Accessing your profile settings

To open your profile settings:
  1. Tap your profile icon or avatar (usually in the top-right corner or sidebar)
  2. Select Profile or Account Settings

Personal information

You can update the following personal details:
  • First name and Last name
  • Profile picture — Upload or change your avatar
  • Phone number — Add or update your phone number

Open your profile

Navigate to Account SettingsPersonal Information.

Edit your details

Tap the field you want to change and update the value.

Save changes

Tap Save to apply your updates. A confirmation message appears when your changes are saved.

Change your email

If you need to change the email address associated with your Lena account:

Go to Security settings

Navigate to Account SettingsSecurityChange Email.

Enter your new email

Type the new email address you want to use.

Verify the new email

Lena will send an OTP to your new email. Enter the code to confirm the change. A confirmation message appears when your email is updated successfully.
After changing your email, you’ll need to use the new email to log in.

Change your password

To update your password:

Go to Security settings

Navigate to Account SettingsSecurityChange Password.

Enter your current password

Type your existing password to confirm your identity.

Enter your new password

Type and confirm your new password. A confirmation message appears when your password is updated.

Phone verification

You can add and verify a phone number on your account:
  1. Go to Account SettingsVerify Phone
  2. Enter your phone number
  3. You’ll receive a verification code via SMS
  4. Enter the code to verify

Notification preferences

Control how and when Lena notifies you:
  1. Go to Account SettingsNotification Preferences
  2. Toggle notifications on or off for different categories (e.g., assignments, announcements, grades)
  3. Choose between push notifications, email notifications, or both

We recommend keeping notifications on for assignments and announcements so you don’t miss important deadlines.

Delete your account or profile

Deleting a school profile

To remove a school profile from your account, see School Profiles → Removing a profile.

Deleting your entire account

If you want to permanently delete your Lena account and all associated data:
  1. Go to Account SettingsDelete Account
  2. Read the warning about what will be deleted
  3. Confirm the deletion
Account deletion is permanent. All your data — profiles, submissions, grades, and course history — will be removed and cannot be recovered.
