Lena gives you two powerful tools to stay organized: Search to find anything
quickly, and the Activity Feed to see what’s new.
Search
The Search tab lets you find content across all your enrolled courses in one
place.
How to search
- Tap the Search tab at the bottom of the screen
- Type a keyword or phrase in the search bar
- Results appear grouped by category
Search categories
Results are organized into tabs so you can filter by content type:

Use specific keywords for better results. For example, search “quadratic
equations” instead of just “math” to find exactly what you need.
Activity feed
The Activity tab is a chronological feed of everything happening across all
your courses. Think of it as your personal news feed for school.
What appears in the activity feed
- New grades — when a teacher grades your assignment or you complete a quiz
- Teacher feedback — written comments on your submissions
- New announcements — important messages from your teachers
- Quiz and exam results — when results are published
- Assignment deadlines — reminders about upcoming due dates
- New discussion posts — activity in course discussions
Why it matters
The activity feed ensures you never miss an important update, even if you
haven’t opened a specific course recently. It’s especially useful when you’re
enrolled in multiple courses — instead of checking each course individually, you
can scan your activity feed for what needs attention.
Check your activity feed daily to stay on top of deadlines, new grades, and
announcements across all your courses.
Notifications
Lena also sends push notifications and/or email notifications for
important updates. These work alongside the activity feed:
- Push notifications alert you instantly on your device
- The activity feed gives you a full history to review later
