Your teacher uploads study materials — documents, PDFs, images, videos, and other files — organized in folders within each course. Here’s how to find and use them.
Before you begin: You need to be enrolled in a course. See Joining a Course.

Finding study materials

1

Open your course

Go to the Courses tab and tap the course you want to view. You’ll land on the course home screen.
2

Go to Study Materials

Tap the Study Materials tab within the course. You’ll see folders and files organized by your teacher.

3

Browse folders

Materials are organized in folders by your teacher. Tap a folder to view its contents. Folders can be nested (folders within folders). You’ll see a list of files and subfolders inside.

Viewing files

Tap any file to view it. Depending on the file type:
File typeWhat happens
PDFsOpens in the built-in viewer
ImagesDisplays in a full-screen viewer
VideosPlays in the built-in video player
DocumentsOpens in a compatible viewer or prompts download
Other filesPrompts you to download and open externally

Downloading materials

To download a file for offline access:
  1. Tap the file to open it
  2. Look for the download icon (usually an arrow pointing down)
  3. The file will be saved to your device’s downloads folder
Download materials when you have a good internet connection so you can study them offline later — especially useful before exams or in areas with unreliable connectivity.

Folder structure

Your teacher organizes materials into folders for easy navigation. A typical structure might look like:
📁 Week 1 - Introduction
  📄 Lecture Notes.pdf
  📄 Introductory Slides.pptx
📁 Week 2 - Core Concepts
  📄 Chapter 2 Notes.pdf
  📄 Practice Problems.pdf
📁 Past Questions
  📄 2024 Exam Questions.pdf
  📄 2023 Exam Questions.pdf
You can’t create, rename, or delete folders or files — only your teacher can manage the study materials. If something is missing, ask your teacher to upload it.

Troubleshooting

  • Check your internet connection - Try refreshing the page and tapping the file again - The file format might not be supported by the built-in viewer — download it and open with a compatible app on your device
  • Large files (videos, high-resolution images) take longer to load - Try switching to a faster network (Wi-Fi instead of mobile data) - Download the file for faster access next time
  • Check all folders — the file might be in a subfolder - Ask your teacher which folder it’s in - The teacher may not have uploaded it yet
