Lena automatically calculates your course grades based on your assignment and quiz scores. Here’s how to find and understand your grades.
Before you begin: You need to have submitted at least one assignment or quiz to see grades.

Viewing your grades

1

Open your course

Go to the Courses tab and tap the course. You’ll land on the course home screen.
2

Find your grades

Look for the Grades section within the course. This shows your overall performance. You’ll see your assignment average, quiz average, and overall grade.

Understanding your grade

Your course grade is made up of two components:

How the overall grade is calculated

Your teacher sets the grade weights for each course. For example:
The weights vary by course — your teacher decides how much assignments and quizzes count toward the final grade. The weights always add up to 100%.

Individual scores

To see scores for specific assignments or quizzes:
  • Assignments: Go to the Assignments tab → Submitted section. Each graded assignment shows your score and teacher feedback
  • Quizzes: Go to the Quizzes tab → Submitted section. Each completed quiz shows your score and (if allowed) correct answers

Grade updates

Your grades update automatically when:
  • A teacher grades your assignment submission
  • You complete a quiz (since quizzes are auto-graded)
  • A teacher publishes CBT exam results
You’ll receive a notification when a new grade is posted, and it will appear in your activity feed.

CBT exam grades

CBT exam scores are managed separately from your regular course grades. To view CBT results:
CBT exam scores are managed separately in the CBT system and are not included in the course grade shown here. To view your CBT results, see Viewing Your Results.

Troubleshooting

  • Your teacher may not have graded your work yet (assignments require manual grading) - For quizzes, your score should appear immediately after submission - Try refreshing the page or logging out and back in
  • Check the grade weights — a low quiz score with high weight can significantly affect your overall grade - Review individual assignment and quiz scores for any surprises - If you believe there’s an error, contact your teacher
