# Student Guide

> Everything students need to know about using Lena — your dashboard, courses, assignments, quizzes, and more.

The Lena Student App is your daily learning workspace. From joining courses and
accessing study materials to submitting assignments, taking quizzes, and
tracking your grades — everything you need is in one place.

## Your dashboard

When you open the app, you land on the **Home** screen — your personal
dashboard.

The dashboard shows:

* **Greeting** with your name and school avatar
* **Date picker** — tap any date to see activities for that day
* **Daily schedule** — classes, assignment deadlines, quizzes, and announcements
  for the selected day

## App navigation

The Student App is organized around four tabs at the bottom of the screen:

    All your enrolled courses. Tap any course to access its content. Add new

    Search across everything — courses, assignments, quizzes, discussions,
    announcements, files, and people.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Activity" icon="bell">
    A real-time feed of updates — new grades, feedback, announcements, quiz
    results, and more.

As a student on Lena, you can:

## CBT exams

For Computer-Based Testing (CBT), Lena has a dedicated exam app at
[cbt.lena.africa](https://cbt.lena.africa). CBT exams are designed for formal,
timed assessments with security features.
