# Your calendar

> See your classes and your assignment and quiz deadlines by day, week or month.

**Calendar** in the sidebar shows when your classes meet and when your assignments and quizzes are due, across all your
courses.

## What's on it

* **Your classes**, from each course's schedule.
* **Assignment and quiz deadlines.** Choose one to see what's due, then **View assignment** or **View quiz** to open it.

Exams aren't on the calendar. Check **Exam** in the sidebar for their times. Work without a due date isn't on the
calendar either.

## Find your way around

* **Today** takes you back to today. The arrows move backwards and forwards.
* Use the view menu to switch between **Day view**, **Week view** and **Month view**.
* **Day view** also lists what's **Due this day**.
* To see one course at a time, pick it in the course filter.

## Good to know

* **Choose the view it opens in.** Set **Default calendar view** to Day, Week or Month in **Settings** →
  **Preferences**.
* **Times show in your time zone.** Lena uses your phone or computer's time zone. To change it, use **Timezone** in
  **Settings** → **Preferences**.
* **Want a reminder before things are due?** Turn on **Due reminders** in **Settings** → **Notifications**. Lena reminds
you a day before an assignment or quiz is due. See [notifications](https://support.lena.africa/get-started/notifications.md).
* **"Nothing scheduled yet"** means your courses have no class times or deadlines to show yet.
